Success isn’t only measured by achievements on the field, but also off the field with the exceptional camaraderie and sportsmanship shown by the IAS athletes throughout the entire weekend.
“The characteristics and traits that we try to espouse in our athletes were on show and we were so impressed with the tenacity, respect, competitiveness, support, camaraderie, skill, pride and – dare I say it – professionalism that each athlete displayed,” IAS CEO, John Armstrong said.
We cannot succeed without strong support from others and the support provided by Premier Motor Service for supplying us with four buses for the weekend and to BaiMed for supplying us two Physiotherapists. Thank you!
The 2021 Your Local Club Academy Games is proudly supported by Your Local Club, the NSW Government, Newcastle City Council, Lake Macquarie City Council, NBN News, Regional Academies of Sport and the Hunter Academy of Sport.
Lastly, thank you to the unsung hero’s – the coaches, managers, IAS administration and parents – we could not have had such a fantastic weekend without your hard work, care and support!
