Illawarra Academy of Sport BluceScopeWIN LoneStar Equestrian Athlete Emily Lord has continued her great year with another outstanding performance, this time at the NSW South Wales Interschool Championships last weekend. Competitors were vying for a position in the New South Wales State Team to compete at National Interschool Championships in September. Emily competed in the Secondary Show Horse Category which included riders from year Seven to year Twelve. Competing against the other 64 Competitors in her Category on her Thoroughbred Horse Lord Cairo, Emily finished as the Runner Up Champion. Emily and Lord Cairo also won the prestigious Godolphin Off The Track Though bred Award for the highest placed Thoroughbred at the Championships. This result mean Emily and Lord Cairo are now eligible for the NSW State Team to compete at National Interschool Championships in September.
