SOTO Engineering are again supporting the Illawarra Academy of Sport Cycling Program for the 2024 season, and our athletes are ready and rearing to compete in the Your Local Club Academy Games.
The cyclists have been training regularly since the scholarship year began in October of 2023 with our Head Coach Michael Marshall at the helm, supported by our wonderful assistant coaches Chloe Heffernan and Jared Madsen. The IAS’ comprehensive program, supported by Soto Engineering, includes strength and conditioning, sports education, and high level coaching, and has assisted the athletes to produce some incredible results already in 2024.
Our squad of 30 athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 will head to Wagga Wagga in April to participate in the Your Local Club Academy Games, racing alongside young emerging cyclists from across NSW. With the consistent and generous sponsorship of SOTO, IAS Cycling are hoping to bring home some silverware.
