Congratulations to the 2022/23 Netball Umpire of the Year, RHIANNON EVANS!
Rhiannon was awarded her National B Badge in June.
Rhiannon was given the opportunity to umpire the HART NSW Senior State Titles in July and was also selected to umpire at NASSA, AICES and NSWCIS for both juniors and seniors.
Rhiannon was the 2023 Netball Umpires Captain where she demonstrated great commitment to her personal development as well as the development of the squad.
Coach Emma Corfield said Rhiannon has a “Great personal attitude, which is then reflected onto the team”.
Rhiannon is dedicated to Netball, taking on further responsibilities. She coaches a junior local team, is a junior umpire coordinator and coaches’ junior umpires from Corrimal and Illawarra.
