The Illawarra Academy of Sport seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced residents from the Wollongong, Wingecarribee, and Shoalhaven Local Government Areas to fill positions of Community Members on the Academy Membership. Additionally, we seek application from former scholarship holders to fill the position of Alumni Member on the Illawarra Academy of Sport Membership.
The Board and its members are responsible for governance oversight of the Academy and its strategic direction. A Community Member can be elected to the IAS Board, which has the responsibility of controlling and managing the affairs of the IAS.
We are seeking:
- 1 x Alumni representative (3-year term)
- 2 x Wollongong representative (3-year term)
- 1 x Wingecarribee representative (3-year term)
- 1 x Shoalhaven representative (1-year term)
