Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy

The IAS takes all complaints about on and off-field behaviour seriously. The IAS will handle complaints based on the principles of procedural fairness, and ensure:

  1. all complaints will be taken seriously;
  2. the person making the complaint will be given full details of what is being alleged against them and have the opportunity to respond to those allegations;
  3. irrelevant matters will not be taken into account;
  4. decisions will be unbiased; and
  5. any penalties imposed will be reasonable.

This Policy and its procedures are designed to ensure that allegations of Prohibited Conduct are managed through an effective, consistent, and timely process, which is fair and transparent.

Prohibited conduct is defined within clause 4 of our Member Protection Policy.

A Complaint can be made by filling in the Complaint Form which will be evaluated by the IAS to determine the appropriate action.

All complaints will be kept in confidence.
