IAS Golfer Danni Vasquez has claimed the rain shortened Harvey Norman Week of Golf after storming to victory with a fantastic final round. The girls division was a one sided affair, with Danni Vasquez making it back to back Harvey Norman titles after winning the Sub Junior Event in 2015. This time she did it in style, building a 10 shot lead after making 7 birdies in her opening 15 holes. A few errors late on saw the winning margin cut to 6, but it was a breakout performance by the 15 year old and her biggest victory of her career. Fellow IAS Golfer Kelsey Bennett, Cassidy Graham and Sarah Johnson also had great results. Kelsey finished tied for 4th in the Girls Championship with a score of 160 and claimed the Girls Overall Nett Title by 1 stroke with a score of 139. Cassidy finished with rounds of 81 and 69 to finish strong seeing her finish 4th in the Girls 15 years Nett. Sarah finished 3rd in both the gross and Nett divisions for the Gilrs 16 years with rounds of 91 and 84.
