Congratulations to the 2022/23 Vic Burrow Award for Golf Athlete of the Year, SIENNA CLARKE!
Sienna Clark has had another outstanding year, producing yet again fantastic results throughout the year. She is dedicated, skillful and a hard worker, always striving for greatness.
Her remarkable accomplishments during this year have solidified her position as a rising star in golf.
One of Sienna’s standout moments of the year was her selection to represent Jack Newton Junior Golf in the Pearl Open Junior Tournament held in Hawaii. This opportunity showcased her remarkable skills as well as her ability to perform at a high level in an international competition.
Sienna was the Mollymook Open Women’s winner as well as the 2023 JNJG Peter O’Mally Junior Masters overall winner and winner of the Girls 16+ division finishing 8 shots in front of second place.
This year, Sienna won the prestigious St Michael’s Women’s Salver & Jug, as well as captaining the St Michael’s Division 1 team.
Sienna was selected again as IAS squad captain. Her leadership abilities were outstanding, always leading by example and showcasing a positive attitude for all things. She is a great role model for her fellow golfers and is an inspiration for all females in the sport.
Head Coach Justin Clarke said “what sets her apart from others in the sport is her consistency and outstanding performances across the whole year. She is a dedicated athlete, leading by example, with both great commitment to her sport as well as her studies at school”.

The Vic Burrows Memorial Award is an award which takes into consideration achievements, improvement, attitude and community support shown by the athlete throughout the year. Vic Burrows was the founding coordinator of the IAS Golf Program and devoted 10 years to ensuring the program was a success for aspiring golfers of the region. The award has a $500 scholarship provided courtesy of Golf NSW.
