Congratulations to the 2022/23 Bluescope WIN Lonestar Athlete of the Year, IVY MILLER!
Ivy is an extremely versatile athlete competing in both Swimming and Surf Life Saving. She has achieved some remarkable results over the past 12 months in both sports.
Ivy gained selection into the 2023 NSW Country Trans-Tasman Series Team and the 2023 NSW Country Dolphins SLSA Super Surf Leagues Team. Ivy was a member of the 2022-23 NSW Sharks Performance Pathway Squad and has had recent selection in the NSW Target Performance Pathway Squad.
Ivy qualified for the Australian Age Swimming Championships in April, the NSW Senior Age State Championships in December, as well as the NSW Country Swimming Championships, short and long course. She also competed in the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships, finishing 1st in the 50m, 100m and 200m Backstroke.
Ivy has competed in Surf Life Saving this season in the NSW Open State Championships, NSW Country Championships, Sydney Water Surf Series and South Coast Branch Titles, where she was named the Female Youth Athlete of the Year. Ivy actively participates in her community. She is a volunteer lifesaver and water safety volunteer for younger athletes.
Ivy’s consistent high-level results, in both Swimming and Surf Lifesaving, show her determination and commitment to both sports.
