
Former IAS Athlete Caleb Ewan has capped off a stellar 2014 season by winning the AIS Under 23 Cyclist of the year award. The Jayco Australian Cyclist of the Year Awards celebrates the achievements and performances of Australian cyclists and recognise the contribution of volunteers, events, coaches and media to the sport. Caleb adds this year’s under 23 award to his 2012 Junior Male Road Cyclist of the Year. 2014 saw Caleb complete his first season as a professional with Orica-GreenEdge, represent Australian at the Commonwealth Games and the UCI Road World Championships, and win the Under 23 Criterium and Road Races at the Cycling Australian Road National Championships. This award is a testament to Caleb dedication and commitment to his sport and a reward for all his hard work.
