Congratulations to BEN BELL recipient of the 2022/23 Coaching Leadership and Excellence Award
The IAS Coaching Leadership and Excellence Award recognises the coach within the Illawarra Academy of Sport who has demonstrated an attitude of ‘above and beyond’.
Ben Bell has been recognised as the recipient of the 2022-23 IAS Coaching Leadership and Excellence Award.
Ben Bell is committed to the IAS Triathlon program. He has shown a continued effort to build a strong culture and morale amongst the squad. Ben has worked to build a strong program schedule, going above and beyond the expectations set by Triathlon NSW.
There has been evident improvement of results of the athletes, including the increase of athletes selected in the NSW All Schools Triathlon Team and results at the Triathlon NSW Billigence State Series.
Ben strives for the best out of his athletes within and outside the IAS program. He is well respected amongst athletes, fellow coaching staff and parents and always enthusiastic to assist at IAS events and community service throughout the year.
Ben consistently demonstrates behaviors that reflect the IAS program in a positive manner, such as sportsmanship, fair play, and integrity.
