Danni Vasquez is having a great year so far now adding the NSW Golf Club Silver Cup and Wagga Wagga Junior Masters to her trophy cabinet. Danni won the Silver Cup in a close finish, winning by 1 shot, holding her nerve to sink a 1.5 metre putt on the last hole to seal the victory. She then backed up this victory a week later with a convincing win in the Wagga Wagga Junior Masters, Shooting two exceptional rounds of 70 and 71 to finish the tournament -5, winning by 11 stokes. Danni broke the tournament trend with all other golfers finding the course conditions tough. Fellow IAS Golfers Cassidy Graham and Sarah Johnson shot first rounds of 85 with Cassidy firing a second round of 84 to finish tied for 8th while Sarah shot 87 to finish tied for 11th. In the Boys competition IAS Golfers Jackson Hall, Tom Heaton, Jake Reay and Jamie Reay all took part, with Jackson and Tom leading the way with rounds of 73 & 76 to finish +5 and tied for 9th. Jake won the battle of the brothers with two consistent rounds of 77 to finish +10 and tied for 21st while Jamie finished +23 and tied for 54th with rounds of 80 and 87. In the age divisions the above results saw Jackson and Tom finish tied for 3rd in the Boys 14 & 15 Years, Jake 3rd in the Boys 16 Years & Over Nett, Cassidy 3rd in the Girls 15 Years & Under Nett, Sarah finishing 4th in the Girls 16 Years & Over Nett and Danni taking out the Stroke and Nett Girls 16 Years & Over.
