The IAS Netball squad will head north next week with the aim of winning the annual NIB Netball Tournament being held in Maitland. The squad is currently preparing for this event and will spend the day on Sunday refining their skills in preparation for the highly competative tournament. The IAS has a long history of participating at this prestigious event and will again enter teams in both the division one and division two tournaments. The NIB Netball Tournament is a major event in the scholarship program for IAS Netball athletes and provides an opportunity to play against the best netballers from across NSW in the hope of being selected for future Netball NSW representative teams. The tournament is run by the Hunter Academy of Sport in conjunction with the Netball NSW High Performance Unit.
