Illawarra Academy of Sport BlueScopeWIN LoneStar Athlete Hannah Crinnion has been selected for the 2017 Little Athletics Australian National Camp to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra later in the year. Crinnion’s selection comes after producing some fantastic results at the State Multi Championships held recently.
IAS program and Athlete Development manager Mr. Andrew Barrett believe “Crinnion’s selection is a great acknowledgement of the hard work she has been putting into her race preparations” adding that “the Little Athlete’s Australian National Camp will be another fantastic opportunity for Hannah to continue developing as an elite athlete under the guidance of some of the country’s best coaches”
The good new continues for Crinnion who has also been selected by Athletics NSW to participate in the Athletics NSW 400m Fast Track program, which is a training, coaching and mentoring project that assists in developing talent as a potential high performance 400m sprinter. Crinnion will commence training at Sydney Olympic Park every Sunday under the guidance of well-known and highly successful coach Mike Hurst, who in the past has coached the likes of Darren Clark (current Australian and NSW Open Records for 400m) and Maree Holland (current NSW Open Record for the women’s 400m).
