CLUB/ASSOCIATION: The Links Shell Cove Why did you apply for an IAS scholarship? I applied for an IAS scholarship because I want to achieve my goal of taking golf to the highest level and I believe with hard work, commitment and continuous learning through this program this could become possible. Who’s your favourite professional athlete and why? My favourite professional athlete is Paula Creamer because I think she is a great role model. She always shows great sportsmanship and appears to love what she is doing. At the end of each round she always makes time for the spectators, sponsors and her supporters. If you weren’t playing this sport, what would you be doing and why? I would play some sports including netball, Oztag and swimming as I love being part of a team and always keeping active. How would you describe yourself in one sentence? I am a fun, loyal and trustworthy person who has a real passion for golf. What are your plans beyond school? If I am unsuccessful in becoming a professional golfer, I would like to attend the PGA IGI to get an Advanced Diploma in Golf Management or to attend University to become a PE Teacher and become the NSW State Manager for the CHS All School Sports Team. If you could live anywhere in the world – it would be? If I couldn’t live in Australia, I would live in Orlando, Florida because they have great golf courses and Disney World because it is my favourite holiday destination. What do you do in your free time? During my free time I love spending time with my family and friends. I love going paddle boarding at the beach and taking my dog for walks and swims. I love listening to music, going shopping and to the movies with friends. I love being a kid. What is your favourite subject at school? My favourite subjects at school are PDHPE and PASS as I love sports and this is a possible career path. What is your greatest achievement in your sport so far? My greatest sports achievement has been making the IAS team. When did you start playing your sport and how did you get started? I have been playing golf for approximately three years and started because I thought that it would be something fun for my father and I to do together. It was as I improved my skills that I decided I wanted to pursue it more seriously.
